The Academic Support Center is a resource available to all students at St. Joseph Junior High School and Trinity High School. The Center provides a welcoming, structured environment for group study, peer tutoring, and individualized support from our dedicated Academic Coaches.
Students who may benefit from additional support in one or more academic areas receive personalized guidance designed to strengthen skills, build confidence, and promote academic success.
As a private school, we do not offer formal special education services. However, our dedicated Student Support Team partners closely with families to develop individualized support plans that address each student’s unique needs. Students with established support plans are given priority placement in the Academic Support Center.
The Academic Support Center functions as a structured study hall staffed by Academic Coaches who assist students in a variety of areas, including:
- Organization and time management
- Tracking assignments and meeting deadlines
- Ensuring assignments are completed and submitted
- Monitoring grades and academic progress
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to determine appropriate supports
- Communicating regularly with parents
- Facilitating productive conversations between students and teachers
- Scheduling extra help sessions
Our goal is to equip students with the tools, strategies, and confidence necessary to become independent, successful learners.

Peer Tutor Program
The Academic Center is proud to offer students at St. Joseph Junior High School and Trinity High School supplemental academic support beyond classroom instruction through our Peer Tutor Program.
At Trinity High School, qualified upperclassmen may apply to serve as Peer Tutors through the Academic Center. These student leaders provide academic assistance to their peers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Peer tutoring is available on an as-needed basis before school, during designated study periods, and after school. This flexible structure allows students to receive targeted help when they need it most while building confidence and strengthening their understanding of course material.
