At St. Joe’s, we honor and remember our patron saint, Saint Joseph, in our daily lives and through special celebrations throughout the year. We joyfully observe the Solemnity of St. Joseph on March 19 and his feast day on May 1, pausing as a community to reflect on his faithful example.
Known as the husband of Mary and the earthly father of Jesus, St. Joseph is also remembered for his humble work as a carpenter and woodworker. He was a man of quiet strength—devoted, hardworking, and obedient to God’s will. His life reminds us that faithfulness to God must come before all else and that trust, perseverance, and service are powerful expressions of love. In moments of uncertainty or need, we turn to St. Joseph as a guide and intercessor, seeking his wisdom, protection, and steadfast faith.
Prayer to Saint Joseph:
Saint Joseph, watch over me and care for me just as you cared for the child Jesus; and by your help, may I come to know your Son, and so grow in strength and wisdom and the favor of God.
Amen.
Serving Through Ministry
The Vision
At St. Joe’s, Campus Ministry brings faith to life. Its mission is to help students live out what they learn in Theology class by loving God and serving their neighbors. When we recognize Christ in every person, service becomes a sacred encounter—one where students meet Him through acts of compassion and generosity.
Campus Ministry is about something far greater. Through prayer, outreach, and service, students become the hands and feet of Christ, answering His call in Matthew 25 to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, and care for the sick. In doing so, our students grow not only as scholars, but as faithful, servant-hearted leaders.
Catholic Formation
Beyond the activities of the regular school day, students at St. Joe’s are invited to live out their faith in meaningful and hands-on ways. Through a wide range of outreach opportunities—such as prayer experiences, planning and participating in Masses, retreats, and other liturgical services—students grow spiritually while serving others. Community service, charitable works, and mission trips further allow students to put faith into action and make a lasting impact beyond our school walls.

Virtue = Strength Program
St. Joe’s is proud to participate in the Virtue = Strength program, which focuses on strengthening students’ moral character through the intentional practice of one new virtue each month. This approach reinforces Catholicism as a way of life—not simply a subject to be studied. The program is built upon three foundational pillars: Virtue, Ceremony, and Catholic Identity.
