| Over
seventy-five years ago the parishioners of St. Joseph Cathedral
decided to take control of their children’s education.
When St. Joseph School opened its doors in 1925, their vision
and dream for Catholic education was realized. That dream
continues today. Through the hard work and dedication of experienced
faculty, staff and administration, St. Joseph Regional Junior
High School is a state of the art facility, rich with history
and catholic tradition.
Dedicated members of the school community have enabled St.
Joe’s to keep pace with today’s students. The
school building, while maintaining its historical integrity,
has been continuously updated to sustain an environment that
is respectful of the learning process and addresses the needs
of all students.
St. Joe’s is built on a solid foundation of academic
excellence and Christian values. The school continues to grow
with technological advancement and dedication to the Arts.
Each classroom at St. Joe’s has Internet access and
all teachers are encouraged to integrate technology into their
lessons. The spectacular auditorium allows students to discover
hidden talents in various stage productions. Whatever their
interests, St Joe’s provides the setting and encouragement
to help students develop their skills and explore new opportunities.
St. Joe’s is the only Manchester-based catholic school
focused exclusively on the education of 7th and 8th grade
students. This wonderfully unique setting provides an unparalleled
opportunity to design programs specifically geared towards
this wondrous age.
Furthering Christian values and providing the tools necessary
so that each student can reach his or her own God-given potential
is our measure of success. Educating the ‘whole’
student to become a caring, responsible and responsive member
of society is the ultimate mission of St. Joseph’s Regional
Junior High School.
