be sure that your child's name is on a label or tag inside
his or her blazer!). A white oxford shirt AND tie

G. Shoes: Sneakers may be worn. Sandals may

safe on school stairs and will the soles of the shoes mark
the floors in the school (such as street sneakers)?
H. Hats: Hats or headgear of any kind are
not part of the school dress code. They are never to be worn
in the building unless permitted by the administration.
I. Hair: Hair should be neat and not a distraction.

the school day or any school activity.
K. Tattoos: Tattoos are not acceptable.
Enforcement of Dress Code :Any student who arrives at school
not in complete dress code, or is out of dress code during
the school day, will be required to correct the dress issue.
If a student cannot have clothes brought to school or return
home that day to correct
the problem, he/she will serve a “dress code violation”
in-school suspension for that school day. Any time that a
student is away from the school will be considered unexcused.
The administration reserves the right to alter the dress code
and make final judgment on what is acceptable. After three minor dress code violations (no
belt, shirt untucked, etc.), the student will serve lunch recess detentions. After three
such detentions, the student will serve an after-school detention.
Failure to comply with dress code policy will also impact the student’s homeroom
conduct grade. A student’s third offense will result in a 3 in homeroom conduct.
Subsequent offenses will result in a 4 or 5 in homeroom conduct. All regulations concerning
extracurricular activities eligibility requirements, academic honor roll, and
conduct and effort honor roll apply.
A student who persistently refuses to follow the dress code will be asked to leave
the school.
