The Jazz Dogs, a local jazz band, will be entertaining us as we sample an array of local and international wine and beer and check out all of the fantastic auction items. The Jazz Dogs can be seen at the Commercial Street Fishery here in Manchester on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The quartet played for us at our art auction last year and we are looking forward to having them back.
We are honoring two local philanthropists this year at the event. Stephen Singer of Merchants Automotive and Ed Girard of Lafayette Press will be honored for their commitment and generosity to our community over the years.
Our feature auction item of the evening is a collage from the Rolling Stones. The collage contains 4 CD’s (Voodoo Lounge, Flashpoint, No Security and Aftermath) as well as the September 22nd 2005 edition of the Rolling Stones magazine signed by ALL of the band members. This piece has been certified as authentic and is valued at over $2,000!
We will be holding a 50/50 raffle during the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance or the night of the event.
